Bank Specialist Paediatric Dietitian – Cromwell Hospital, London (SW5 0TU)

Paying £28.00 per hour

As a Bank Specialist Paediatric Dietitian at Cromwell Hospital, you’ll play a key role in delivering and developing high-quality, evidence-based dietetic services across both general and paediatric care.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver specialised nutritional advice to paediatric and general inpatients and outpatients.
  • Lead service development, governance, audit, and risk management for dietetic services.
  • Collaborate with catering teams to ensure therapeutic diets are available and appropriately delivered.
  • Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, particularly on the paediatric ward.
  • Support nursing staff in nutritional assessments and ensure appropriate referrals and escalations.
  • Coordinate patient referrals and provide tailored dietary advice and follow-up.
  • Develop patient and staff education resources and lead training initiatives.
  • Promote the dietetic service through marketing and national events.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and hospital governance policies.
What you’ll bring
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics
  • HCPC registration
  • Experience in Paediatrics (Required.)
  • Minimum three years post-registration hospital experience
  • Strong communication, analytical, and time management skills
  • Proficient in clinical systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in service development and audit leadership
