Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic, conscientious, and highly motivated individuals who are good team players to join our busy and progressive department. Applications are invited from HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientists with relevant Microbiology experience.

The department handles approximately 230,000 specimens annually and employs 47 staff members. It holds full ISO 15189 and UKAS accreditation and is approved for training by NES, HCPC, and IBMS. Active participation in CPD and opportunities for personal development are supported and encouraged.

Experience in out-of-hours and on-call work is desirable, as there may be requirements to work weekends and on-call shifts, including lone working.
