We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team, who is able to work on their own initiative and as part of the team.

The post holder will be responsible for leading the shift, administration of medication and supporting and guiding other care staff to meet the needs of the residents. You will undertake a key working role within the service so should have knowledge and experience of support Planning and the reviewing process and risk assessing in relation to older people.

The post holder will adopt a person centred approach to deliver a high standard of flexible and responsive care to service users within the care home and will provide support and assistance to service users to enable them to remain as independent as possible promoting their own abilities independence and skills.

Previous experience in a social care setting is essential and ideally you should hold an SVQ 3 in Social Care, or as a minimum hold SVQ 2 with a willingness to achieve an SVQ3 in Social Care within 5 years of appointment to enable registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service of Adults.

This is a bank post worked, worked as and when required.
