Hourly Rate: £12.23 per hour

Overview of the role

Whether you are new to the industry or have come from a social care background, we welcome your application. You will be provided with in-house training when you start work with Choice Care. Working alongside our permanent staff team, you will not only make a significant difference in people’s lives, but also enjoy days out, trips away, and many other activities, all designed to ensure the people we work with are safe, happy, and lead fulfilling lives.

Key duties

  • Providing personal care – including bathing, toileting, dressing, and help with feeding
  • Medication administration
  • Assisting and participating in residents' daily activities, hobbies, or outings
  • Following care plan guidance in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
  • Maintaining written daily records
  • Attending and completing training as required

Where will you work?

We offer flexible, tailored supported living services for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and complex needs. Our support ranges from a few hours a day for independent living skills, shopping, cooking, and personal care, to full-time, 24/7 specialist care. We collaborate with local authorities, care professionals, and accommodation providers to support individuals in maintaining their tenancies and living as independently as possible, with personalized care based on their needs, capabilities, and preferences.
