Overview

A vacancy at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust. We are seeking a Bank Senior Urgent Care Practitioner with professional registration of NMC or HCPC.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care including assessment, examination, documentation, prescription, implementation and evaluation of care, and appropriate discharge of patients, including adults and children, presenting with undifferentiated diagnoses of both minor injuries and illness.
  • Act as a clinical expert in direct patient care while working in Urgent Treatment Centres that are nurse- and paramedic practitioner-led and operate 7 days a week from 08:00 to 20:45.
  • Engage effectively with patients, peer groups, and service users in all elements of your role, leading by example and promoting a supportive and caring culture.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, enthusiasm, motivation and effective interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
  • Professional registration with NMC or HCPC.
