Job Advert Location Description

To provide high standards of person-centred support and care, maintaining dignity and respect, enabling independence, and supporting individuals to realize their potential. Ensure actions and behaviour align with corporate policies, local procedures, statutory regulations, and quality standards.

The role involves supervising and supporting staff on shifts, delivering personal support and care plans, and contributing to service development. Responsibilities include resolving day-to-day issues, supporting team members, maintaining professional relationships, and supporting individual service users in achieving their goals.

Support staff in maintaining effective relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and external agencies, referring issues to senior staff as needed.

Act as a positive role model, providing supervision and guidance to team members, and supporting their professional development.

Undertake keyworking responsibilities, supporting individuals in planning and reviewing their goals and outcomes.

Located in Hurlford near Kilmarnock, Newhouse offers residential support for 22 adults with primary learning disabilities, some with physical health needs or on the autism spectrum. Our team provides tailored support to promote independence.
