With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), and behaviours that challenge. To provide the highest standard of person-centred support and care to the people who use our service, maintaining dignity and respect, enabling them to lead as independent lives as possible and realise their potential. Ensure own actions and behaviour and through the effective supervision of Support Workers, the service complies with corporate policy and local procedures, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
The role requires supervision and support of a number of staff on a shift as well as supporting the delivery of personal support and care plans. The role holder will also make a significant personal contribution to the overall development of the service ensuring day-to-day issues and incidents are appropriately resolved and reported according to policy and procedures referring more complex and serious matters to senior management as appropriate. Newhouse is located in the semi-rural village of Hurlford, near Kilmarnock, Scotland. Our home offers residential support for 22 adults with a primary learning disability diagnosis, who may also have physical health needs, or be on the autism spectrum. Our passionate team is on hand to provide just the right level of support to allow individuals to live as independently as possible.
Disclosure
All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland, and the cost of this will be covered by Priory. We are an equal opportunities employer.
