Overview

Our key priority is ensuring the safety of all patients, staff and visitors when they attend our hospitals and we provide a reassuring and professional approach in difficult situations when they need us most. We offer advice, support and training on security matters and always look to defuse and deescalate situations to achieve the best outcome. We respond to all security incidents, liaise with emergency services personnel and are a key link when escalating in the event of a major incident.

Responsibilities

As a Bank Security Officer post you may be asked to attend either site and shifts may not be set into a regular pattern. You will be responsible for lockdown of the hospital, attend security incidents and, where necessary, take appropriate measures to ensure the protection of staff and patients. As a Bank member of staff you may be required to work at either our Basingstoke or Winchester site and support the team as and when required.
