South Park Care Home is a 70 bed nursing home providing both General and Dementia Nursing Care. It is situated in Acomb, which is approximately 2 miles from the beautiful and historic City of York.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To be responsible for the safe administration and recording of all medication prescribed by the resident’s medical practitioner.
  2. To lead the care team and ensure all residents are cared for to the highest possible standard.
  3. Providing round-the-clock care for residents, including monitoring their mobility, food and fluid intake, and level of dependency.
  4. Developing and implementing care plans for residents, and reviewing them on a monthly basis.
Ideal Candidate
  • Assist and guide the care teams to provide a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for both residents and their relatives.
  • Have an active NMC PIN with prior nursing experience.
  • Be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work well with others.
