Bank Retail Catering Assistant

The position advertised is for a Bank Role within Atrium Cafe at RBH. We are looking for an enthusiastic person/s with great customer service skills to serve our staff, patients and visitors in a vibrant and busy environment.

Main duties of the role include:

1. Assisting in providing high-quality service to staff, patients and visitors.
2. Performing general catering duties including the preparation and service of speciality coffees and other hot beverages.
3. Heating and serving food products, operating a till, replenishing stock, clearing and cleaning the seating areas and use of a dishwasher.
4. General cleaning duties and to follow any reasonable instructions from the supervisor.
5. Assisting with the temperature recording of food.
6. Having a good understanding of Allergens and the safe use of equipment.

Essential:

• Good standard of education (GCSE's Grade D or above) Similar.

Essential:

• Minimum of one years experience in a Catering environment.
• Transferable skill/s (e.g Customer service experience).

Essential:

• Good general understanding of food safety regulations.
• Able to work as part of a team and build good relations.
• Openness to change. Have the ability to respond quickly to different situations.

Desirable:

• Prior experience in a food related business.
• Holding previous food related qualifications.
• Awareness of Allergens and Food safety.
• Be able to work on own initiative.
