Main duties of the job

As a Pre-Assessment Staff Nurse, you will:

Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service. As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery. Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care. Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family. Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care. Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities. Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key.

Leicester Hospital Founded in 1969, Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital was originally built from funds raised by the local community and is now one of the leading providers of private healthcare in Leicestershire.
