Job description

The Staff Bank is an ideal way of starting a career in the Trust, offering flexibility of working hours and the opportunity to gain experience in different areas. The Staff Bank will provide training to enable you to work across the Trust.


Requirements:
  1. Essential to have experience of working in an acute hospital within the last 12-24 months. Applications will get reviewed and further information will be discussed during the interview.
  2. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  3. Ideally the ability to work a minimum of 12-24 hours per month.

What we offer:

  2. Clinical skills support and enhanced skills sessions (where required).

Please note this post is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or applicants requiring Tier 2 sponsorship.


To work with all members of the Ward/Department clinical team within the multi-disciplinary framework and maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse.


To act as a leader in the clinical area, in the absence of a more senior member of staff. To work in accordance with the principles laid down by the Nursing/Midwifery professional bodies and Trust Policies.
