Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is recruiting a warm Registered Nurse – Bank for Chorleywood Manor Care Home in Chorleywood. You will stand in for the Manager when required and ensure high standards of care for residents, while supervising the care team and delivering timely nursing tasks.

Essentially you will hold a First Level qualification with current NMC registration and at least two years' experience. DBS checks are required and Avery will cover the cost; you must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• First Level qualification
• Current NMC Registration
• Demonstrates a minimum 2 years' experience
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to instruct care activities

Responsibilities

• Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings and management of chronic conditions
• Providing high standards of care through assessment and planning
• Acting as person in charge in the absence of the Manager
• Supervising and supporting care staff during duty periods
• Advising families and GPs of changes in resident condition and keeping them informed
