Are you looking to join a dedicated and caring team who support local patients when they need it the most?

We have a great opportunity for Bank Registered Nurses to join our multi-disciplinary team, providing high standards of skilled, compassionate nursing care and symptom management to patients. You don't have to be an RGN or have palliative care experience; we welcome applications from RMNs and RNLDs from all backgrounds.

This is a bank position, therefore shifts will be available on an ad hoc basis to cover holiday and sickness within the team.

Main duties of the job

This is an ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to extend and develop their palliative and end-of-life care skills. You will work with highly skilled staff across our In-Patient Unit and Hospice@Home Service, participating in a full shift rotation pattern (days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays).

This rewarding role involves providing individualised care, with our teams going above and beyond for patients and their families. If you have a passion for hospice care, we would love to hear from you.

What we can offer you:

  • Salary above NHS pay scales
  • Reimbursement of NMC fees
  • High staff-to-patient ratios
  • Work at a hospice engaged in research and campaigning
  • Free parking
  • Excellent CPD opportunities

What we need from you:

  • Highly motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic
  • Ability to respond appropriately to emotionally challenging situations
  • Excellent nursing skills, record keeping, and medicines management

We do not have sponsorship status; all offers are conditional upon candidates providing evidence of their right to work in the UK and completing pre-employment checks.
