Role: Bank Registered Nurse
Location: Pitcairn Lodge, Kirkton Of Skene, Westhill, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, AB32 6XT
Pay: £22.49 per hour
Hours: Hours as and when required
Welcome bonus and relocation: We pay up to £3,000 when you join Sanctuary Care. Relocation packages are also available.
Responsibilities
Become a part of a team that enriches residents’ lives and support colleagues. You will:
- Provide the highest quality of personalised care to residents in line with their individual care plans, which you prepare and monitor
- Regularly communicate with residents, their families and staff both verbally and in writing
- Provide comprehensive, systematic and accurate nursing assessments of the physical, psychological and social needs of residents
- Work as part of a team to deliver care in a kind and supportive manner
What skills do I need?
- Teamwork: a happy team contributes to happy residents and a happy home
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Experience of working in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach
- Kindness and a genuine regard for older people and their needs, ensuring respect and dignity
- Ability to use the Nursing Process to formulate initial nursing diagnoses by collecting data and prioritising and managing care
- Experience of infection control, nutrition, moving and handling, wound care, phlebotomy and drug administration
Your Job
- A clinical training team providing a wide range of courses to support our Nurses with their clinical knowledge and skills
- Support in meeting NMC revalidation requirements for CPD
