Job summary

Hampton Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join the clinical team on bank hours. You will lead shifts, assess needs, administer medications and monitor residents with dignity and respect.

The role offers ongoing training and funded development into senior or management pathways within a supportive, professional environment where quality of life for residents is prioritized.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making.
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Care home experience is beneficial, but nurses from other backgrounds are welcome to develop in this environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Assess needs, develop and review care plans, and administer medications.
• Monitor health changes and respond promptly to changing needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain standards of care and safety.

Job description

Hampton Care Home is a spacious, purpose-built home in the London suburb of Hampton, providing high-quality nursing, dementia, palliative and short-term care for up to 76 residents. Set across three floors with generous ensuite bedrooms, dedicated staff teams and secure landscaped gardens, the home offers a safe, supportive and welcoming environment designed for comfort, dignity and quality of life.

Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

• £25.23 per hour
• Contracted to Bank hours per week
• Paid DBS, uniform provided

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

What We Are Looking For
