We welcome applications from experienced Registered Children’s Nurses who can demonstrate recent acute hospital experience within the UK healthcare system. Newly Qualified Nurses may apply once they have successfully completed their preceptorship programme and gained at least 15 months clinical experience.
As a Bank Registered Children's Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, family-centred care to children and young people. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing safe, compassionate, and effective nursing care across a variety of clinical settings.
Responsibilities include:
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for children and young people
Supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey
Administering medication and treatments in line with Trust policies
Maintaining accurate clinical records
Promoting safeguarding and patient safety at all times
Contributing to a positive patient and family experience
Ability to work within a team and as an independent practitioner
Ability to work in fast paced, high pressure areas
Good organisational skills and ability to manage own workload

Registered Children's Nurse with current NMC registration
Have at least 12 months post-registration experience (15 months for Newly Qualified Nurses including preceptorship )
Have recent acute hospital experience within the last 18 to 24 months
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Adaptable, reliable, and professional approach to work
