Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Bank Radiographic Assistant, Band 2 or Band 3, to join the Radiology team across Perth, Dundee and Angus. You will support clinical staff in general X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound services. Clinical experience as a Health Care Support Worker or similar is required; further radiology training will be provided.

The department operates 24/7, so weekend and evening shifts are a key requirement. Hours are bank hours as required.

Bank Radiographic Assistant, Band 2 or Band 3

We require an individual to join our team, providing support to the Clinical staff in the provision of our services, on a bank basis. The successful applicant(s) would be assisting registered staff in the general X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound services across the NHST Radiology sites in Perth, Dundee and Angus.

Clinical experience as a HCSW or similar is required for this post and further training specific to the Radiology department will be given. Potential candidates should be aware that some examinations are quite intimate, and this may not appeal to all individuals.

The Radiology Department operates 24/7 services, and the ability to undertake weekend and evening shifts is a key requirement.
