The role of Project Worker will include:
· Regularly assessing the needs of clients by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment
· Assisting clients with managing finances and welfare benefits
· Encouraging social inclusion and helping clients to build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
· Working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of the clients and actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as an advocate when required
· Promoting safe working practices by undertaking risk assessments within legislative frameworks

Skills and experiences:
· You will have previous experience in a role supporting victims of domestic abuse or a background gained in a supported living environment in a project worker capacity
· Sound knowledge of housing management including voids and arrears management
· Good understanding of occupancy agreements
· The ability to react effectively under pressure
· The ability to work on your own initiative and ability to source innovative solutions to problems
· You will be empathetic and non-judgmental with good interpersonal and customer care skills
· NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards, is essential
