A leading healthcare provider in Birmingham is looking for a Bank Pre Op Assessment Nurse to conduct health assessments and provide support to patients preparing for surgical procedures. This role involves thorough assessments, pre-operative testing, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates will have experience in pre-operative assessment and be NMC Registered Nurses. The position offers flexibility with shifts and the chance to work in a supportive environment.
Bank Pre Op Assessment Nurse
Location: Birmingham
Contract type: Bank
Pay: Bank hourly rate between £18.45ph – £25.63, dependent upon shift.
As a Pre-Assessment Nurse, you will conduct thorough health assessments and provide comprehensive support to patients at the pre-assessment clinic, enabling them to be well-prepared for their procedures and recovery. You will review patients from various surgical specialties, prepare them for surgery, optimize their health, and help reduce cancellations.
You will undertake pre-operative tests and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
