Job summary

IC24 is seeking a Bank Practice Nurse for Hastings Hub to deliver high‑quality patient care in a busy urgent care setting. You will assess, treat, screen and educate patients, working both independently and with a team of nurses and GPs.

The role requires valid NMC registration, DBS clearance, and eligibility to work in the UK. The position offers flexible bank hours and opportunities for professional development within IC24.

Qualifications

• Experience in smear testing, chronic disease management, asthma, diabetes, wound care, health screening and risk assessment.
• Valid NMC registration and eligibility to work in the UK; DBS disclosure and two references required.

Overview

As a Bank Practice Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality patient care, working in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct. You will provide assessment, treatment, screening and health education to our patients, working independently and alongside our team of nurses and GPs. You will also be responsible for the safe and effective delivery and future development of the overall service, working towards the achievement of the Practice’s aims and objectives and supporting the delivery of the Practice business plan.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality patient care in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct.
• Conduct assessments, treatments, screening, and health education.
• Work independently and collaboratively with nurses and GPs.
• Safely manage and develop the overall care service, contributing to practice aims and objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in smear testing, chronic disease management, asthma, diabetes, wound care, health screening, and risk assessment.
• Valid NMC registration.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK, satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure, and two references.
