Bank Posts for Student MH & LD Nurses on placement within TEWV

This is a unique opportunity to fast track onto the bank available only to existing students within TEWV, enabling you to work and gain valuable experience within Forensic Services, Learning Disability, and Mental Health Services for Adults and Older People, Trust-wide.

You will be responsible for supporting nursing staff in meeting the needs of service users, working alongside our established workforce to deliver all aspects of care that promote choice and client independence.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a mandatory training programme within the first 8 weeks of commencement. This training, approximately 8 days for HCAs including 5 consecutive days of face-to-face training in Positive and Safe Care, will equip you with the necessary skills to work effectively and safely within our services. It is essential that applicants can commit to this prior to applying.

Bank workers are not regular employees and do not have entitlement to guaranteed or continuous employment. Hours worked on the bank are not transferable to placement hours, and bank work cannot be undertaken in the same location as your current placement.
