A local health board in Machynlleth is seeking a motivated individual for a part-time bank porter role. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support services, including logistical tasks for various departments. Good communication skills and a solid understanding of health and safety are essential. Applicants with a Literacy and Numeracy L1 or equivalent will be prioritized. Training will be provided.

We are looking to recruit a bank porter role within Powys Teaching Health Board
You will need to be a motivated and reliable individual with good communication skills. As part of the role you will be working closely with clinical staff and other various departments. A good understanding of health and safety is essential. Any training requirements will be given.
Main duties of the jobTo provide and maintain a flexible, dedicated, comprehensive support service to departments of the Health Board, under the direction of the Support Services Supervisor, enabling both clinical and non-clinical departments to function effectively.Required to undertake a wide range of Portering duties including moving and handling, in line with Portering department and general Health Board policies and procedures The Porter Assistant is responsible to the Hotel Services Supervisor to undertake a range of porter and housekeeping duties, with the aim to provide logistical support to the Hotel Services and other departments.
In addition to periodically to support the wider Hotel Services Team as directed e.g. catering or cleaning tasks.
