Job summary

Spire Leeds Hospital invites applications for a Physiotherapy Assistant to work on the ward, under the supervision of a registered Physiotherapist. This flexible bank position requires availability for regular shifts to support the team and patient care.

Based in Leeds, the role offers exposure to a busy private hospital environment with opportunities to develop clinical skills and progress within Spire Healthcare’s Resourcing Team.

Qualifications

• Ideally equivalent of level 3 NVQ or a healthcare certificate, or related sports and exercise qualifications is required
• Previous experience of working in the healthcare sector is a requirement
• Good administrative skills and a passion for customer service
• The ability to multi-task and prioritise multiple workloads

Bank Physiotherapy Assistant | Flexible Working | Bank | Leeds – LS8

Spire Leeds has an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapy Assistant, to join our experienced and dynamic team. Working with a registered Physiotherapist on the ward you will be able to develop your clinical skills in a modern and supportive environment. This is a flexible bank position, but you must be available for regular shifts.

Spire Leeds Hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, has been treating patients for almost 30 years. We are the region’s largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week.

Duties and responsibilities

• Assisting Registered Physio’s on the ward
