Job description
Overview

Assist with the provision of a high-quality pharmacy service to patients of the Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with all pharmacy staff and maintain a close working relationship with other members of the multidisciplinary team; this includes Nursing staff, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Junior Doctors and Ward Clerks.
  • Lead the team and manage workload to meet department deadlines and targets.
  • Maintain the ACPT qualification via allocated slots at the Dispensary in Mile End Hospital.
  • Line manage, train and support ATO’s.
  • Work in a number of different environments including mental health in-patient wards, PICU, Home Treatment Teams and the trust pharmacy dispensary.
  • Ensure all documentation regarding medicines management is completed and accurate.
  • Undertake ward based activities, coordinating and maintaining medication supply to designated ward(s), as required.
