Job summary

Spire Healthcare Group is seeking a Pharmacist to join our hospital-based pharmacy team. The role involves delivering a comprehensive pharmacy service across departments, ensuring patient-focused pharmaceutical care, and interacting with patients to determine their requirements.

GPhC registration and hospital experience are essential, with a Diploma being advantageous. Shifts are flexible as part of a bank 0-hour contract, typically Monday to Friday 8:30–17:30 and Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration is required.
• Post-qualifying experience in a hospital setting is essential.
• Pharmacists educated to degree level; Diploma desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive hospital pharmacy service.
• Interact with patients across departments to determine pharmaceutical needs.

Who we're looking for:

• Pharmacists educated to degree level (Diploma desirable)
• Current GPhC registration
• Post qualifying experience working in a Hospital setting is ESSENTIAL
• Someone who is looking for the challenge of delivering a comprehensive pharmacy service within a hospital setting
• Excellent communicator as you will interact with patients across various departments to find out their pharmaceutical requirements
• Non-medical prescribing would be advantageous Contract Type: Bank 0 hours, flexible working

Hours: Shifts as required - Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-17:30 Sat 8:30-13:00
