We have an exciting opportunity for a BANK Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Featherstone a category C Prison located in Wolverhampton. HMP Featherstone is a male prison with a population of 678 males, this is a training prison with a layout of 7 wings. As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Provide outstanding evidence based case to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focussing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
  • Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
  • Playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients care following our policies, procedures and always considering safeguarding.

We are looking for caring, compassionate but also driven professionals who can help us drive our vision for a fair and inclusive healthcare access to all.

Qualities and experience sought
  • Qualified Paramedic
  • Current professional registration (HCPC)
  • Proven post-registration ambulance experience
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
  • Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries/illness
  • Experience in a hospital, community or prison environment (not essential)

Bank Hourly rate
  • Weekdays - £23.83
  • Weekends - £25.68
  • Bank Holidays - £30.82
Schedule
  • Monday - Sunday
  • Weekdays - 7am - 6.30pm
  • Weekends - 8.30am - 5.30pm
