Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate BANK PAEDIATRIC NURSE to join our team in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to client care and demonstrate excellent clinical skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative. Tracheostomy and ventilator experience are essential. Paediatric nurses are preferred for this role due to the involvement with a young child with highly complex needs; however, nurses with extensive experience may also be suitable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients with waking night shifts and days where needed
• Working in partnership with professionals
• Maintaining and adhering to all CQC guidelines for a Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led service

Key skills

• Registered nurse with active PIN
• Must have recent hands-on tracheostomy experience
• Must have ventilator experience
• Must be trained and competent in IM injections
• Leadership and motivational skills
