Job summary

SpaMedica in Truro is seeking a Bank Optical Assistant to support our ophthalmic team. You will assist with pre- and post-operative consultations and help in theatres, contributing to safe, patient-centered NHS cataract care.

You will operate diagnostic imaging machines on patients and act as a theatre runner, ensuring smooth operating room flow and compassionate patient service. This is a flexible zero-hour bank role with shifts from 7:30am to 5:30pm.

Bank Hours: Zero Hour Contract.

Location: Ground Floor, High Water House, Malpas Road, Truro, TR1 1QH

Salary: £12.78ph
