NHS Forth Valley - Staff Bank Service

Bank Nursing Assistant (Complex Care)

We are looking for reliable, experienced and dependable nurses to join our Staff Bank Service to enable the provision of supplementary staffing to cover periods of staffing shortfalls to support Complex Care Services across NHS Forth Valley. Work would be allocated on an “as and when required basis” with different shift patterns available to suit flexible work.

We are looking for motivated Nursing Assistants to join our dynamic Children’s Complex Care Team.

You will play a vital role on supporting children and young people with complex healthcare needs in their homes and in community settings. You will work closely with families and carers, deliver personalised, holistic care that promotes safety and quality of life.

We are looking for staff who have experience or an interest in working in this setting. You must have excellent communication skills, be a team player and have a compassionate, patient/family centred approach to care.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

· Managing clinical interventions such as enteral feeding, tracheostomy care and non invasive ventilation (training will be provided if required).

· Contribute to care planning, risk assessments and clinical documentation.

· Working flexibly across community and home-based setting
