Priory Hospital Middleton St George

With a CQC rating of ‘Good’ (July 2021), the Priory Hospital Middleton St George is located in extensive grounds near Darlington, County Durham, 40 minutes from the coast, 30 minutes from the Yorkshire Dales, and within easy reach of Durham and Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

The hospital has seven wards providing individualized treatment for people with mental health needs, including adults with complex behaviors. Staff wellbeing is prioritized, with events throughout the year to recognize staff contributions. The grounds are used for sports days and barbeques for patients, carers, and staff.

Facilities include free on-site parking, free meals on shift, an on-site gym, and a staff lounge with excellent break facilities.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities

• Registered nurse with active NMC PIN and 12 months post-qualifying experience

• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
