Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking an experienced Band 5 Registered Nurse for our Bank Nurse role in Bath. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centred care and work with the wider team to ensure smooth patient journeys.

Qualifications

  • NMC Registered Nurse (1st Level) is required for the role.
  • Nursing qualification at Diploma level or above.
  • Evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
  • Mentorship/teaching qualification or willingness to obtain within two years.
  • Ability to assess patients, plan, implement and evaluate care.

As a Bank Nurse, you’ll be working as part of the HCRG Care Group Team. As well as the attractive hourly rates of pay, at HCRG Care Group you will benefit from:

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for this Band 5 Registered Nurse opportunity, you’ll need to meet the following requirements.

  • NMC Registered Nurse (1st Level).
  • Nursing qualification at Diploma level or above.
  • Evidence of relevant continuing professional development.
  • Mentorship/teaching qualification or willingness to obtain this within two years.
  • Ability to independently assess patients and plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
  • Ability to recognise and appropriately escalat urgent clinical information or deterioration.
  • Strong communication and multidisciplinary team-working skills.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise your own workload without direct supervision.
  • Knowledge of current health and social care developments and evidence-based nursing practice.
  • Appropriate clinical skills and confidence using relevant community equipment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate written and electronic patient records.
  • Flexibility to work across a seven-day service.
  • Ability to travel across the required locality, with a current driving licence and access to a car during the working day.
  • Existing mentorship/teaching qualification.
  • Relevant community nursing experience.
