Are you a UK Registered Nurse (RGN) wanting control and flexibility to work the shifts you want?

There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.

Weekdays, nights, and weekend shifts are regularly available and easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps, you’ll have the nursing shifts at The Dean secured that you want.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join as a Bank Nurse with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus access to benefits including free meals on duty, free parking, and more.

What you will be doing:

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD), you will provide high-quality evidence-based care to men and women with neurological conditions, support your colleagues, and promote good teamwork.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5-hour standard shifts. As a nurse on our bank, you’ll be on a zero-hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Where you will be working:

Location: The Dean Neurological Centre, Tewkesbury Road, Longford, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, GL2 9EE

The Dean Neurological Centre has 60 beds in Gloucester (GL2 9EE), on the outskirts of town with easy access from Gloucester and Cheltenham, with good transport links.

The Centre delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions requiring ongoing support to maximize functional ability.

It specializes in slow stream rehabilitation, emphasizing maximizing each individual's abilities, comfort, and quality of life.

Bedrooms are fitted with high dependency equipment, including ceiling track hoists, wall-mounted suction, and oxygen equipment, with all rooms adapted to individual needs. There are well-equipped therapy facilities, gardens, a gym, and a minibus.
