Are you a UK Registered Nurse (RGN) looking for control and flexibility to work the shifts you want? Elysium Healthcare is offering a Temporary Bank Nurse role at their The Dean Neurological Centre in Gloucester, providing high-quality evidence-based care to men and women with neurological conditions. You'll have the freedom to choose your own shifts, with a competitive hourly rate that includes a 12.07% holiday uplift, and access to a range of benefits.

Main duties of the job

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD), you will provide high-quality evidence-based care to men and women with neurological conditions while supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork. You'll have the flexibility to choose your own shifts, with weekdays, nights and weekend shifts regularly available. The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts, and you'll be on a zero-hour contract, giving you the freedom to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.

The Dean Neurological Centre has 60 beds in Gloucester (GL2 9EE), which is on the outskirts of the town within easy commute from Gloucester, Cheltenham with good transport links.

The Centre delivers specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise functional ability.

It specialises in slow stream rehabilitation where the emphasis is placed on maximising each individual's abilities, comfort and quality of life.

Bedrooms are fitted with high dependency equipment, including ceiling track hoists, wall mounted suction and oxygen equipment., with all rooms adapted to individual requirements. There are also well-equipped therapy facilities and other facilities such as gardens, gym and minibus.
