Care Plus Group Primary Care practices provides the first point of contact for registered patients accessing the health care service. The service will work collaboratively with patients to assist them in managing and preventing illnesses and coordinating access to specialised care.
The Care Plus Group Primary Care practices, Open Door and Quayside, provide services for a client group with a range of diverse and sometimes complex needs including substance misuse, homelessness, mental health problems and self-neglect.

Job Title: Bank Medical Receptionist

The postholder will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers and will be required to deal with enquiries efficiently and courteously to the mutual satisfaction of the partners, service users, and patients.
You will provide a professional and quality administrative support and reception service to patients, doctors, other health professionals, and all visitors. You will be greeting and marking as arrived patients and answering the telephone, along with referrals, scanning, and other duties. You will work under general supervision and within well-established procedures.
You will be required to answer all incoming calls from patients and other health care professionals, diverting them appropriately. Liaise with clinicians, make/cancel and re-arrange appointments via the system. Undertake routine clerical duties, e.g. photocopying, scanning, computer work, message taking, telephone enquiries. Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail (including electronic).
