Job summary

Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is seeking a Bank Mammographer to join our part-time, ad-hoc team in Leeds. The role offers flexible banking shifts with pay rate up to £33 per hour, dependent on experience.

You will contribute to the breast clinic and breast screening service, delivering high-quality mammography in a supportive environment alongside experienced practitioners and state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent).
• Registration with the HCPC.
• Mammography postgraduate qualification.
• High levels of technical knowledge.
• More than 2 years' experience.
• Ability to work accurately and compassionately.

Responsibilities

• See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy.
• Deliver a high-quality mammography service supporting the breast clinic as well as the breast screening service.
• Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues.
• Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
