Job summary

Spire Liverpool Hospital is seeking a proactive Engineer to join our maintenance team on a bank/occasional basis. You will maintain building services, equipment and grounds, ensuring compliance with current legislation and Spire policies.

The role requires an apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, strong knowledge of building services, and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with clear communication. Flexible hours and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Served a recognised apprenticeship in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of building services.
• Excellent communication and professional appearance for healthcare environment.
• Team-oriented and able to contribute to a hospital maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Responding to ad-hoc maintenance requests across the hospital
• Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital
• Work from fault logs and allocate tasks within area of responsibility
• Undertaking regular training alongside our experienced engineers
