Bank Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) (RMN)

We are looking for a Bank Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) or a Bank Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a current UK pin number and a passion for delivering outstanding care. You will have the opportunity to work flexible bank shifts at Trinity House, located in the heart of a residential community in Lockerbie.

Trinity House is a specialist residential service with nursing, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The team also supports individuals who have behaviours that may challenge and associated mental or physical health needs. Our focus is on ensuring residents are part of their local community and can access education, employment, and other opportunities to meet their needs.

Individuals are supported through local paid and voluntary work placements, as well as at living and vocational skills courses at the local college.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Producing outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
  • Working closely with the management team to develop the service, conduct audits, and improve quality
  • Attending training and engaging in CPD to enhance knowledge and promote nursing practice
  • Ensuring individual care plans are complete and maintained collaboratively with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals, in accordance with NMC guidelines
  • Administering medicines within healthcare procedures and guidelines

Candidate requirements:

Essential: Ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits, demonstrate integrity, good understanding of current nursing practices, commitment to patient recovery, and compassion and resilience to support service user independence.

Desirable: Ability to deputise in a clinical lead role, interest in leadership, research, and assessment.
