Crystal Care is seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant to support our catering team in delivering nutritious, appetising meals for residents. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain high standards of food preparation, safety and service in a busy kitchen.

This role requires teamwork, organisation and a proactive approach to cleanliness and resident satisfaction. Training will be provided, and there are opportunities for development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or catering is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, hardworking with good prioritisation.
• Commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist with preparation of nutritious meals tailored to residents' needs.
• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain high cleanliness standards and wash pots, pans, utensils.
• Follow HACCP and health & safety regulations at all times.
• Complete cleaning schedules and keep kitchen areas hygienic and organised.
• Assist with stock rotation and storage to minimise waste.
• Report faults or damage to kitchen equipment promptly to the Head Chef or General Manager.
• Show respect for residents and support their individual needs where possible.
• Assist the Lifestyle Team with food-related activities and events.
• Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role as requested by the General Manager.
