A well-regarded care facility in Aberdeen City is seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant Host. In this role, you will support the culinary team with food preparation and ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment. The position offers £12.21 per hour, onsite parking, and other benefits, contributing to the creation of high-quality meals for residents.
Our care home, nestled in the tranquil Craigiebuckler area of Aberdeen, offers distinguished care services tailored to a variety of needs, including Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite, and Palliative care. With a capacity for 81 residents, we provide a serene and supportive environment where personalized care meets exceptional living.
We’re looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant / Host to support our culinary team, ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

What You’ll Do
Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of food, helping to get meals ready efficiently and to a high standard.
Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain general cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen area, including equipment and appliances, ensuring a hygienic environment.
Delivery Handling: Receive, check, and safely store kitchen deliveries, ensuring that all items are properly accounted for and stored.
Food Safety: Understand and implement safe food handling principles to ensure the highest standards of food safety are met.
Cleaning Procedures: Follow cleaning procedures for different surfaces and equipment, ensuring everything is sanitized and well-maintained.
Presentation: Ensure that all areas are well-presented and maintained in good condition, contributing to a professional kitchen environment.
Safe Work Practices: Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
Health & Safety: Understand and adhere to Health and Safety at Work legislation, always ensuring compliance and safety.
Professionalism: Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times, fostering a positive and respectful workplace.
