Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Bank Kitchen Assistant for the Gorseway care home to help prepare nutritious meals and support residents at mealtimes. The role offers a zero hour contract, flexible shifts, and on-demand pay.

You will assist the chef, maintain hygiene standards, follow food safety guidelines, and engage warmly with residents to enhance their dining experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Bank Kitchen Assistant - zero hour contract.
• Combination of shift times; 7.30am - 5.30pm and 9.30am - 7.30pm.
• No set shifts, flexible rota.
• A positive, team-focused attitude.
• Previous kitchen experience required for this role.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow food safety, COSHH, and health & safety guidelines.
• Work both independently and as part of the team.
