Job summary

ADVINIA HEALTH CARE is seeking a Bank General Assistant in a healthcare kitchen to support meal provision for Residents, Staff and Visitors. You will assist with food preparation, cooking and service, while maintaining hygiene and safety standards in a flexible, shift-based role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist catering staff with meal preparation and cooking in line with policy.
• Serve Residents, Staff and Visitors with food and beverages.
• Maintain storage procedures and stock rotation.
• Ensure that areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.
• Ensure kitchen meets hygiene standards and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality food service.

As a Bank Catering Assistant you will be:

• Assisting catering staff with both the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.


• Serving Residents, Staff and Visitors with food and beverages.


• Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.


• Ensuring that all areas, equipment and furniture are cleaned and stored correctly.


• As part of the catering team, ensuring the kitchen and associated areas meet operational hygiene standards and comply with the company's policies and procedures.


• Liaising with the wider team., You will work alongside the multidisciplinary service to promote great food service.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Catering Qualification (Desirable)


• Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP


• Experience of working within similar role.


• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
