Job summary

Rhodes Wood Hospital in Hatfield is seeking a Bank Housekeeper to join the staff bank. You will clean wards, offices, bedrooms and visitor areas, working with the maintenance team to keep areas spotless. Shifts are flexible and pay is weekly, at £13.11 per hour with a 12.07% uplift.

Join a dedicated team caring for children and young people aged 8-18 with eating disorders in residential care. Training is provided, and weekend shifts are available, with support for a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, then join the team at Rhodes Wood Hospital as a Bank Housekeeper.

You will be an integral part of the staff bank at a service for those who have long term neurological conditionswhere you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms and visitors area.

Working closely with the maintenance team you’ll ensure all areas of the service are spotless and be able to confidently deliver high standard cleaning services.

As staff bank, enjoy the flexibility to choose shifts that align with your schedule at £13.11 per hour plus a 12.07% pay uplift and enjoy weekly pay.

You’ll receive all necessary training to get you started and join the dedicated team, where you can make a positive difference and be part of changing lives for the better.

Weekend shift available and occasional weekday from 7am-3pm.

As a Housekeeper You Will Be

• Maintaining required security standards of the hospital by following relevant policies and procedures as defined by the Hospital.
• To be an active member of the team with a range of responsibility over the day-to-day operation.
• Maintaining excellent telephone etiquette and ability to meet and greeting visitors in a professional manner.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with all staff, visitors and service users.
• Helping create a positive culture.
• Undertaking any other tasks requested that are appropriate for the post.
• Attending mandatory and statutory training on an annual basis as required by Elysium Healthcare.

Join the team at Rhodes Wood Hospital providing care for children and young people aged 8-18 years with eating disorders who require residential care, working on tailored treatment programmes designed for the individual needs of each young person.

There is also an on-site Ofsted Registered school to support young people continue with their education while in hospital. Rhodes Wood Hospital is located on the outskirts of Hatfield, which is easily reachable by car.
