Spire Dunedin Hospital is seeking a Host and Catering Assistant to join their team at their hospital located in Reading. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their customer service and catering skills within a private hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Catering team in providing excellent care to patients on the wards, including helping with menu options, tidying, and ensuring refreshments are available regularly.
• Support chefs with food preparation and stock rotation in restaurant areas.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, serving guests in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Maintain quality assurance and patient confidentiality at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in care or catering environments is essential.
• Basic qualification in Food Hygiene or understanding of food safety standards; Level 2 training will be provided in-house.
• Proven ability to work independently and on initiative.
• Positive attitude, flexible approach, and strong communication skills.
