Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Three Shires Hospital in Northampton is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team on a bank basis, with shifts as required. The role offers up to £35 per hour depending on experience, with supportive supervision and access to hospital-wide formulary guidance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy (MPharm, BSc or BPharm).
• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
• Experience in a clinical hospital pharmacy role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medication reviews for inpatients and outpatients.
• Provide tailored advice on treatment plans, including side effects and adherence.
• Support safe prescribing through reconciliation, clinical screening, and dose adjustment.
• Review and authorise prescriptions in line with guidelines and formulary.
• Promote safe, cost-effective use of medicines and support adherence to policies.
• Collaborate with procurement, stock control, and technicians to ensure supply continuity.
• Monitor and report medication incidents as per MHRA guidance.
