Introduction

Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker wanting control and flexibility to work the shifts you want?

Whether you’re looking for extra shifts to boost your income or a flexible job that fits around your lifestyle, if you’re an experienced Healthcare Assistant in the UK you can join our staff bank. After completing a paid two-week induction, you'll have access to shifts at Gregory House in Workington, with potential future options to work regionally at other Elysium services.

There is no minimum number of hours required, though working regularly helps maintain your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service.

Shifts are available on weekdays, nights, and weekends, easily viewable and bookable through an app. With a few taps, you can secure the shifts you want.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join as a Bank Healthcare Assistant earning an hourly rate with a 12.07% uplift for annual leave, plus benefits like free meals on duty, free parking, and more.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5-hour shifts. As a bank Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be on a zero-hour contract, choosing shifts each week based on your availability.
