A rural health organization in Wales is seeking enthusiastic Healthcare Support Workers for its bank staff team. Main duties of the job

'We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, forward thinking and patient-centred Healthcare support workers to join our bank staff team. Our approach is multi-disciplinary led care. We are looking for individuals who are able to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team, are caring and kind and who wish to develop their knowledge and skills within a ward/ready to go home unit setting. We need individuals who are sympathetic, with excellent communications skills, an active interest in learning and an attitude that ensures the highest standard of care for our patients. The role entails shift work, so the ability to work a range of hours is needed, to include nights, weekends and bank holidays.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
  • No formal qualification required. On the job training will be provided. Good level of general education. Demonstrate knowledge of the requirements of the role.
  • Possess or working towards NVQ Level II Award. GCSEs or similar qualifications. Previous hospital experience.
Experience
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Previous experience in working in a caring setting

  • Ability to communicate with a range of people in both a verbal and written capacity. Ability to keep calm in stressful situations
