Introduction

Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker seeking control and flexibility over your shifts?

After completing a paid three-week induction, you'll have access to available shifts at Middlewood Clinic in Midhurst, with potential future options to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region.

There is no minimum number of hours required, although working regularly is recommended to retain your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service.

Weekday, night, and weekend shifts are regularly available and easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps, you can secure the shifts at Middlewood Clinic that suit you.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join as a Bank Healthcare Assistant with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift for annual leave, along with benefits like free meals on duty and more.

You will be part of a team providing care for individuals with Mental Health conditions. Whether you are currently a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker, you will use your experience to support people in leading valued and fulfilled lives.

The service operates 24/7 with 12.5-hour shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank, you'll be on a zero-hour contract, giving you the flexibility to choose your shifts each week.

Where you will be working:

Location: Little Ashfield, Midhurst, West Sussex, GU29 9JP

Middlewood Clinic provides care and treatment for men and women with eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and atypical eating disorders. Our goal is to restore healthy body weight and address psychological issues during treatment.

The multidisciplinary team includes the Registered Manager, Consultant Psychiatrist, Nurses, Healthcare Workers, Psychologist, Dietician, Occupational Therapist, and Social Worker.

The facility features 12 comfortable ensuite bedrooms, communal spaces, lounge areas, dining room, activities room, visitors room, therapy rooms, a therapy kitchen, and a garden.
