Job description

Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for an experienced and passionate Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our award-winning team at Kitnocks House. Kitnocks House, is a 63-bed service providing high quality care across 4 specialised units supporting residents with varying complex care as well as providing a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person and their unique challenges, rather than just the diagnosis. We are currently rated Overall Good with CQC.

What do you need?

Previous experience working in Care (essential)
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families
A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
What hours will you work?

Day Shift: 07.30 to 20.00 (12.5 hour shift)

Night Shift: 19.30 to 08.00 (12.5 hour shift)

What will you be doing?

Supporting all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes and social activities
Helping residents to remain as independent as possible
Respecting residents right of choice, privacy and dignity at all times
Communicate effectively with other staff and members of the team
Attend training sessions and staff development activities as required
* PLEASE NOTE *

Due to our training programme, we would require all Bank employees to attend a 5-day induction prior to starting employment. This induction will be paid for and typically takes place Monday to Friday 09.30 to 16.30. If you are working another full-time role, please take this into account when applying to the position as this induction is mandatory.
