Elysium Healthcare is recruiting a Bank Healthcare Assistant at Dove House, Creswell, Worksop. The role offers flexible shifts, a paid two‑week induction, and access to shifts across the region through a mobile app.

You’ll work with individuals with learning disabilities and autism in a 24/7 residential setting. Experience in Complex Care, Personality Disorder, Mental Health or Learning Disability is required.

Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Healthcare Assistant.

Main duties of the job

The job involves joining a team that works well together to provide care for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism conditions. Candidates should be experienced Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, or Care Workers, utilizing their experience to support individuals in leading valued and fulfilled lives. The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a Healthcare Assistant on our bank you’ll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose which shifts you want to work each week.

Where you will be working:

Location: Colliery Road, Creswell, Worksop, S80 4BX

Be part of a team at this residential service for adults under 65 years with a Learning Disability, Autism and sensory and communication differences located in Creswell, a 10 minute drive from Worksop.

Dove House is a specialist, robust service to support people with ongoing complex needs and behaviours that challenge who are stepping down from hospital or to avoid an inappropriate admission to hospital and to enable them to return to their home area. The model was introduced to emulate community care for individuals with complex needs in robust, spacious accommodation.
